This is one of my favorite combinations. The medallion fabric came from my mother-in-law’s stash. The plaid came from a pair of my husband’s pants that met an early demise when he tore their behind on a nail. Since he’s over six feet tall, I had a lot of that plaid to work with.

Both of these fabrics were hiding in a box at my mother-in-law Yvonne’s house. Other pieces of these fabrics are guaranteed to be in a quilt somewhere in Texas.

This cute red fabric with lanterns and panda bears was purchased at my friend Jill’s garage sale. I wonder what she made out of it.

I’ve been making bibs for gifts, and I recently decided to try to sell them. This blog will chronicle my adventures making and selling my baby bibs. My first step was to create a brand, so that people may recognize the bibs when they see them. I chose rePresent for the following reasons:

  • I began making my bibs as presents.
  • All of the bibs are made from 50% reUsed fabrics.
  • All of the bibs are reVersible.
  • Even a baby’s gotta represent.

My next step was to make a few bibs to act as samples. I’ve made about 15 and I will visit some local vendors and show them my wares next week. I’ll keep you posted on how it goes.
