Bibs with Buttons

Here are the first two bibs with buttons.  I’m so excited about these vintage buttons!  They’re beautiful, and they’ve been waiting for decades to be reused.

Buttons!

Last weekend, while visiting my mom, I discovered a bag of vintage buttons.  Most of them came from my grandma, and many of them are antiques.   As I’m sure you know people from my grandma’s generation didn’t waste things.  Anytime a piece of clothing got too worn to wear the buttons and other fastenings and embellishments were removed for use on another garment.   I’m really excited about honoring that history and incorporating these buttons into my designs.

Silent Auction Sets

This month I donated two burp cloth and bib sets to the silent auction at Trinity CDC’s Annual Sharing with Santa party.  Hopefully, they’ll do well and earn the Center some money.
